Day 4 (September 14, Saturday) : Networking and Collaboration Day
09:00 - 13:30
(flexible)

Balboa Park

"Balboa Park is a 1,200-acre urban cultural park in San Diego, California, United States. In addition to open space areas, natural vegetation zones, green belts, gardens, and walking paths, it contains museums, several theaters, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo."

We will be departing from the Sheraton Hotel 9:00am. We will be using Lyft rideshare vans as transportation so the time is a bit flexible. A few of us will drive and will be able to carry and store luggage for those going directly to the airport afterwards. Once at Balboa park, guests are welcome to tour the park, do some short hikes, visit some of the museums, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery. Johnny will be collecting museum preferences during the workshop and will purchase tickets for those who are interested. We will reconvene for a picnic lunch ~12pm. After lunch, we will coordinate rides to the airport or back to the Sheraton. Guests who have more time, may want to visit Old Town, Coronado, or Downtown afterwards.

If anyone needs to leave earlier, just let us know and we will give you a Lyft code to get you to your destination.

We recommend you download the following apps before Saturday:

Our meeting point at Balboa Park will be at Alcazar Garden Parking Lot at 625 Pan American Rd E, San Diego, CA 92101. We should arrive between 9:30 - 10:00.
