PRAGMA 13 Call For Posters

The 13th PRAGMA meeting will be a forum for presenting the latest research findings on the use of high performance computing and middleware for collaborations, data analyses and simulations, visualization and novel applications. The PRAGMA posters will provide an informal forum for authors to present their work, discuss technical details and explore potential collaborative efforts.
Posters are being solicited in areas including but not limited to:
- middleware technologies
- collaborative environments
- geospatial applications
- biomedical applications
- disruptive technologies and novel applications
Posters will be peer-reviewed by the Poster Committee. A poster submission must include an abstract of at most two pages. Posters should be submitted electronically in a PDF file format at the PRAGMA13 web page URL:

Authors of accepted poster submissions must provide a two pages summary for publication in the PRAGMA proceedings. The camera ready summary for publication in the proceedings should follow the IEEE style file provided at ftp://pubftp.computer.org/Press/Outgoing/proceedings/8.5Ã~W11%20-%20Formatting%20files/
By agreeing to present your poster at PRAGMA 2007, you also give permission to the PRAGMA 2007 meeting organizers to publish the poster and summary on the PRAGMA web site.
The poster sessions will be scheduled in the final agenda of the PRAGMA meeting. Each poster presenter will obtain a unique identification that will be used as a label for the assigned easel. The
recommended poster size is 48â~@³ x 72â~@³ (4 ft * 6 ft) maximum. Please, remember that the posters should contain text large enough to read it easily from 4 to 5 feet away. Printing service of posters would be available on the UIUC campus at the local KINKOâ~@~Ys store but would not
be covered by the PRAGMA meeting organizers. Each poster should be displayed at least two hours prior to the poster session and removed at the end of the day (by 5pm). Posters will be displayed where most of the PRAGMA meetingâ~@~Ys major social events take place. This will give all conference attendees the opportunity to read all posters, and discuss the posters of interest with the authors.
